For setting your bathroom with a pan, you do not have to think much about how and where you get the pan from because the main issue is that you need to use one that has the same location of the drain as the original pan in order to make the work easier. Otherwise you might need to move the drain pipes, which is something to avoid if all possible. Because moving drain pipes is such a complicated work, doing it might take you another couple of days more of hard work.

When you ready with the pipe, everything will go without a problem. You need to remember that the drainage pipe should be vertically in front of the collector. Next you need to connect the water tight with the drain cap located on top of the pan, and also the drainage pipe. Afterwards you need to put a coupling piece on top of the drainage pipe, which is then covered with gaskets. The next move is to screw it to the drain cap.

The drain cap needs to be fitted into the watertight position in the pan. Make sure it fits perfectly by backing off the drain then screw the plumbers putty under the cap. Although it may sounds a little bit complicated at first, once you get start doing it you will not realize how fast the process will go.
